To keep your personal and tax information secure, Sprintax uses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This adds an extra layer of protection by requiring a second verification step when you sign in.
To set up your 2FA simply navigate towards the right upper corner of your page and click on your profile picture. Afterwards, click on 2FA:
Once you've clicked on 2FA you will be directed to the next part of the process. Scroll down a bit and find the Authenticator app section:
Click on Add Authenticator and name it accordingly:
Once you've done that, a new window will pop up prompting you to open your 2FA app on your smartphone device:
You'll have to access your downloaded 2FA app and scan the QR code shown in your Sprintax account. Go to 'Settings/Add new account' in the authenticator app and scan the QR code that you see on your page.
Once the account has been added to your 2FA app, you'll have to enter the generated code from your app here:
Once you enter the code generated by your 2FA app, a notification will pop up in the upper right corner of your screen letting you know that you have successfully activated your 2FA:
