What is the State only module?
The State only module prepares your state tax return only. It does not prepare the federal tax return. Use it if you want Sprintax to prepare only a state tax return.
What do I need before I start the State only module?
You need your federal tax return before you start. The State only module asks for details from your federal Form 1040-NR to prepare your state tax return. Have the return with you when you begin.
How do I start the State only module?
Follow these steps:
Log out of your Sprintax account.
Close all Sprintax tabs in your browser.
Clear the cache and cookies of your browser.
Log in from here.
What if I want Sprintax to prepare my federal return as well?
Use the Full module instead. The Full module prepares the federal Form 1040-NR and the state tax return. To switch, log out and clear the cache and cookies of your browser. Then log in through the Sprintax login page for the State only to Full module.
The details from the State only module are unlikely to transfer to the Full module, so you must enter them again.
